81 92 Ford PU Pickup Truck Bronco Power Window Lift Motor Gear Repair Kit | eBay

Windows work in my F250 but are really noisy. Will these kits solve the problem? Anyone used these repair kits and how did they work for you. Thanks.

 

I just took the door panels off and greased everything up, it was pretty dry after all these years. Also sprayed some silicon lube in window channels. Goes up & down like new.

 

Thanks Al. By the way I vacationed in Spokane last summer for a while. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in Browns Addition. Plan on visiting Coeur D Alene next summer.

Pulled the door panel and discovered that Ford riveted the regulator on. Couple of minutes with a dremel and drill got them off. The gear was the cause of the noise. 24 years in the Nevada sun and dirt destroyed the gear internals. Bought a replacement off ebay for $11.00. The replacement gear fit perfectly. I'll use 1/4 inch bolts to retain the regulator on reassembly. The saga continues.
