Well, I haven't had a chance to swing by the shop I deal with, because they close before I get off work, but my truck sat for 9 days down in Ky at my parents while I was out of town in low 20's during the day and single digits at night. covered in snow, fired right up and no throttle issues on the 2+ hour drive home last night in the pouring snow. Really only seems to happen in the rain.

So I finally had some daylight and a chance to look at the wiring. I found 3 broken wires coming out of the big plugs on the fender well. Miles, how did you repair yours? just butt connectors and grease? I don't think that there is enough room to use shrink tubes without damaging other wires.

Yea just butt connectors with the built in heat shrink, then heat shrink over that. I hardly have the patience/steady hands to solder on a bench nevermind leaning into the wheel well
