If the excursion has been sitting awhile (overnight, during the day etc.) I get a slight rumble at initial start up when I first get moving and turn the steering wheel. Once I get rolling it does not return. Doesn't matter if I am already moving before I turn the wheel or turn it right away.
Overall steering is tight with a new steering box. Doesn't really wander on me.
I read here that it could be a lack of friction modifier in the rear pumpkin. I confirmed with the VIN decoder at etis.ford.com that it has the 3.73 limited slip.
I recall that when I bought it a few months ago the PO said that he recently had the rear axle fluid changed, could they have forgotten to add it which is causing this? Should I add a bottle of modifier to it?
