Console anchors

Console anchors
OK, I picked up a couple of power seats and a console to swap into my Excursion that came with front manual bench. I ended up just being able to use the seat belt wire to power the driver seat. The way it's set up, the wire from the floor plugs into the seat and then the seat belt wire plugs into another connected plug under the seat, so I'm pretty confident it's wired correctly as it all works. I haven't been able to find another plug under the carpet for the passenger, but I have the wiring diagram and can likely splice into the correct wires if needed.
Anyway, this is really about the console. I got a factory console with the seats and it came with the bolts. I found the 4 holes in the floor pan for the bolts, but that's what they are, holes. Since I didn't remove the parts myself, I don't know how it was anchored. Were there bolts welded under the floor pan for Excursions that came with the console from the factory, or were there some kind of anchors that pushed into the holes, then the bolts were screwed into them? I'm using nylon license plate holders for right now, but I'm afraid of over-tightening them, so I'd like to put it in using the factory mounting if I can.

interesting that they do not put the blind nuts in all the cabs. gotta love JIT manufacturing.
you could use a rivet nut to emulate the factory method but I am pretty sure the factory console threads into a plate on the the other side of the sheet metal. you can get an idea of what that plate looks like by crawling underneath and looking at the visible seat mounts.
