New front mud flaps from a roll of 5/16"x 12" rubber conveyor belt. I used the molded Ford mud flaps as my template and added 5" to the length. Now I need to do the rear flaps.

built a "rock tamer" type unit & was still getting mud & rocks thrown at the back of my 5er: now, with the duraflaps, I no longer need the rock tamer
pictures of the duraflaps and bushwacker pocket style fender flares: currently running stock wheels & tires, but shortly, will be swapping out to 295/65 r20 toyo open country m/t with dropstar 645MB wheels

Reminds me back in the day when I used to cut up my dads old or broken tractor trailer mud flaps to make flaps for my cars.
Here are Duraflaps that have been on my 2008 since new. The truck now has 289,000 miles and has been in all the lower 48 states and experienced all weather from snow storms/ blizzards to blistering heat. Other than a little fading they really haven't deformed hardly at all.
On the 2008 drilling was required not that hard.
2008 Duraflaps w/289K miles

These are the new Duraflaps on the 2016, pre drilled and super easy to put on.

All the states have been for work and not driving a truck through them, 33 states have been with the 5th wheel smelling the flowers & cactus plus seeing the sites. America does have some great places to see.
I ordered a set of weather tech units and have been really happy with them. They have already saved me from some pavement paint I didn't even know about.
