Stalling

I've been running into some trouble with my 92 E250 300 - 6. When I go into reverse the engine abruptly stalls. The idle seems low to begin with....any input would be greatly appreciated.

my CrownVic was doing this as well. first off your idle is set pretty low. there is an adjustment for base idle right by the throttle body. i never worked on a 300 EFI before so i dont know its exact location. also, your IAC (idle air control) has probably called it quits as well, although this would also cause other problems like fluctuating idle, or very low warmup idle.
