i have just be given a 85 300 inline six i also have one in my 92 what im thinkin is building up the 300 but i would like to keep the fuel injection of the 92. so will the head from my 92 fit and work on the 85. and i have a guy at work that his brother makes headers for a livin and im going to get him to make one for me so i can run a turbo but hao many pounds of boost is safe on this moter. ad and where the oil presure line comes off the block would that supply a safe amount of oil so that i could run that to the turbo and to a guage. and still read the corect presure.

The 92 head will bolt on and run on the 85 motor, but the compression probably won't be turbo friendly. If you can keep the compression down around 7.5-8:1 you could probably run 12-15 lbs of boost safely. At or above 9.5:1 6 or 7 pounds is probably the limit.
