1967 F100 Choke Cable info needed

It appears that my manual choke cable on my 1967 F100 Flareside short bed truck is a bit small and I am not able to pull the manual choke lever out. I was wondering what the size of the choke cable was for a 1967 F100 with a 300, 6 cylinder engine? Also, does anyone have a part number for the item and if any are available? Also, was the cable used on any other years, engine sizes?

Don't quite understand your question. You wire may be dirty and need to be lubed to move easier. Dis-connect it, pull it out to the max spray both ends with your favorite WD40 like spray work it back & forth 8-10 times and repete, reconnect and see if it is any better.

AFAIK all the factory cables are the same. No idea if yours has been replaced with aftermarket which should work as well.

We have a couple parts guys that can supply correct numbers if replacement is needed that should stop by shortly.

I was roaming two PnPs last week an saw a choke cable in a 2wd bump.
I did not get it as, I did not know if it would fit a 6cyl so left it be.'

That truck was so butcher up the cable was about the only usable part left on it.
Complete top cut off of it at lower window height. Geez, doors, bed, hood & whole front end all gone along with eng. & trans & rear-end missing. all steering gear gone, dash was gutted & no wiring or seat.

The gas pedal & bell crank with the choke cable was the only two things left!
