steering wheel help
i am getting ready to redo my steering wheel on my 68 f100....
#1-i have the horn off and the bolt off, what do i do from here to pull it off with out cracking it or breaking it?
#2-looks like it used to be white but dark at wear areas, what color white were these painted?

get yourself a steering wheel puller.
Steering Wheel Remover Set
A quick search on ebay found several pullers for $10.00 some with free shipping. here's a simple one.

I can usually get a steering wheel off with a swift blow with my hammer,
(not recommended) I've removed many this way.
As for color, do some research and paint it the color you choose. Remember to put several coats of clear when done.
