steering colum question
I am starting my crown vic swap in my 68 swb and was wondering has anyone on here tried to swap a tilt colum out of an 80's f series truck into there bump dent side colums are so hard to come by

Any truck column beyond 1979 is going to have the key switch on the right side of the column and not on the dash.
I'm sure the later tilt column could be installed but it's probably going to be a little more complex than using a '78/'79 tilt column.
I bought my '78 tilt column off eBay.
If you can't find a '78/'79 tilt column locally or through eBay, you can most likely find one by searching Car-Part.com .
