i would not bother, them chrome covers ALWAYS leak. the only way i have ever gotten them to seal halfway decent it to take a grinder to the gasket surface and grind all the chrome off to bare steel.
and then i had to goop the crap out of the gaskets with silicone to make them seal.
now granted this was mostly done on oil pans to stop the leak. i only had one truck with a chrome diff cover come in the shop and it was also leaking.
