Chrome Diff. Covers

Well i'm the new guy here and I just recently bought my first Ford ever, after 50 years of Chevrolets and other GM cars and trucks and a couple of Mopars I bought a 79 F-350 Camper Special 4x4. My truck has a high pinion Dana 60 front axle and I would like to put chrome cover on it. Is the front cover different from the rear cover? I noticed the fill plug on the front cover is a little lower than the standard rear cover. Will a rear cover work on the front?
Thanks , Gene

Can't answer your question directly, but...

Check and see if the front and rear use the same gasket.

I have a few questions on my Dana rear vs dana front parts too.. Can't help you but I'd like to welcome you to FTE.
And after 50 years of Chevy's, you finally reached the old and WISE point. congrats on the Ford
