Or maybe run a resistor in the power circuit to it? Not being an electronics guy I don't know what size resistor or if it would work. The Auberins gauges that I have can be connected to the same circuit as the dashboard dimming wire on the headlight switch so they dim along with the other dash lights but I haven't hooked it up.
Duno if they changed it, but used to be that the tunes ended up passing though PHP regardless so he could steal other tuners tunes.
I'm hoping that isn't true any longer.
But who knows.
That issue was NEVER true. It was brought up by one particular tuning company that was trying to scare other companies away from using the Hydra. That's all.
Then hydra is out for me. You can keep your "real" computer
Hydraflash works with a Windows overlay but when someone develops an application that has to be approved, licensed, and have money exchange hands between a software company and Apple is the reason for no Apple software offering.
It's not just PHP either. Apple's payment and licensing fees scare off a lot of potential software developers.....seems kind of funny that most of the "iDevice" people who think Apple is so awesome and "hip" have no idea just how much capitalism goes on in that company.
that 80" cable sure opens up the range to mount anywhere. I personally want to do a 4 pod and put the switch up there. of course a generic 2 1/16 pod could house it anywhere..or maybe my column pod trans gauge moves to the pillar and the switcher goes there. very versatile for 69$
