If you have C codes installed, please post here!!!
I'm making a chart for the SD rear springs like Tom's chart for the SD front springs. Here is the info I need from you guys: What type of C code, were they from a SRW or DRW and what was the difference in height that you experienced over stock? Modified C codes don't apply.
I'm making a chart for the SD rear springs like Tom's chart for the SD front springs.
If the chart you're referring to is the same one I'm thinking of, for the sake of proper credit, Bruce1945 put that together and posted it on another diesel forum back in '01 or '02 I believe.
I would never minimize the awesome help Tom is (honestly, if you knew how much I value and appreciate how he's "taken over the rains" when it comes to these suspension threads...) but by the same token, I don't wanna dismiss all the work Bruce put into his research either.
Also, have you looked at the spring lift comparison measurement thread?

Reason: Autocorrected ranes to reign, so I fixed it to the proper rains (thanks Mark) ;)

Thanks Stewart, I was not aware of this. I'm all for giving credit to whom it's due.

I have, but it's been a while. I'll take another peek at it today. There is a lot of info in that thread but it's a bit of a pain to dig through all of the custom modifications. There are a lot of C code users, but many have tweaked them to their own personal liking and so the measurements are no good for the purpose of this chart.

This is absolutely correct, the chart was originally made up by Bruce1945, I only made a couple of minor changes from additional info posted by Monsta and a few others. Whenever I copy and paste my version I always try to include the info that gives the credit to those two members.
And thank you Stewart for the kind words, I'm just trying to pay this community back for all the help it has given me!

Doom, take a look in the Tech Folders at the top of the page here for tons of info on the spring swaps for the EX. C codes are just one of several Super Duty truck rear springs many of us have swapped under our EXs, I have B codes under my rear and the heavy duty X codes from an F-550 under my front, it makes our big wagons into the trucks they should have been.
I can not find any thing that says tech folder. Maybe not on the mobileside? I was just thinking like put 2 or 3 more inches on ex. With spring swap.
I'm not sure how the Mobil version works but on the Excursion - King of SUVs main page the Tech Folders can be found under the forth thread down from the top titled "Read First" Excursion Forum Tech Folders.

Yeah, for the app, the sticky threads are in the upper left corner. You have to choose the link between threads or stickies in order to see the "Read First" sticky threads because default shows the regular non-stickied threads.
