No worries, and since you have both columns, you should be able to modify it to work.

I have a '78 F150 tilt column in my '69 F100. It should be even easier to install a '78/'79 tilt in a '73-'79 non-tilt Dentside truck.

The cruise control bracket is from a 1989 Saleen Mustang. The CC switches are from an '87-'89 Mustang.
The '89 Saleen Mustangs came with Momo Veloce series steering wheels. The Momo Monte Carlo series steering wheel I have is very similar to the Veloce series wheel.
