I was hoping somebody was going to chime in with the measurements, twitchy said x/c so what ever that translates to ?

A few possibilities.
If you are at 4 and add 2" then you may need :

*a new track bar mount and possibly a adjustable track bar.
* longer or relocated brake lines
* bump stop spacer
* castor bushings or wedges ( depends on the springs and shackle used )
* tapered block in the rear
* driveshaft lengthened
* shocks

I know you only asked about steering components but I listed everything for anybody else considering doing the same thing who may be unaware of the "other" stuff.

I don't have a kit. I simply have X/modded C springs.

twitch, I only quoted you since x/c is so far the best info we have on his current mods, it is not possible to give him a more specific answer until we have more specific info.

so I listed some of the other things that will need to be considered since I do not know what measurements x/c translates into nor do I know what size block or shackle he is considering.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Half of that stuff doesn't apply to me but that's the list I wanted to see thanks for posting that! I'm totally out on ever doing that then, I'd rather just buy a lift kit and sell my springs then do all of that.

I think he figured if could bolt some taller blocks in the rear probably for from stock to a F350 and shackles up front without changing anything else. Everything you just mentioned sounds like cha ching and not worth the effort since everything current is fairly new.
