Don't look at this thread much as I have not had a I-6 since my 90 F150. Sad day when they stopped making them. My question is, way back when I had a 67 Econoline van. I thought it had a 170 I-6. If this was true, it should be included in the forum title. I could top that van off at about 67 mph but I had to be going down hill with a tail wind. It was my first vehicle, three on the tree and a ton of good memories!
Yeah, there's quite a few of Ford's inline 6's that aren't mentioned here:
226, 254
215, 223, 262
144, 170
Honestly, I think they should make two forums. One for the older sixes and one for the 240/300. The 240/300 is about 99% of the people on this forum, and the rest just sorta get lost in the shuffle.
