300 inline, automatic in a cube van, years?

does anyone know if ford made cube van's with the 300, auto? i have decided this is what i want to use in my 41 ford, 1 ton, stakebed and have a need for a cube van box for parts storage.

I can't beleive Ford would't put the 300 in cube vans. I know they went into many regular vans, even 1 tons. not sure on the years though. If I had to guess I would say that it would be hard to find a 300 cube van, not impossible though, but I'm no cube van expert. I'll keep my eye out for one. Sorry I'm not more help.

300 cube van

thanks for the insights. i believe there were a few years where the short cube box and short wheelbase came with the 300, but it probably was limited. i was trying to kill two birds with one stone, i want a 300 auto and i need a cube box for storage.

I have an 85 cube van with the 4.9 six with cruise,auto,a/c great little van!

thanks, i needed an approximate year they produced the cube van with the 4.9, auto, great to hear it is a good van. i would guess it is a 14-16' box, is that right?

a cube van is a standard van front end up to the rear of the front doors and then it has a box on the back of it. normally the box has a roll up door and the van is used for deliveries.
