Umm, is that 300 with the three downdrafts shoehorned into a Mustang?
If it's the one I'm thinking it is ( Six Gun's ) . I believe that is a destroked 300 ( 272 ci. ) in a 65 Comet. I think he's ran the triple down draft weber's, triple side draft weber's and a 4V.
I remember someone on here setting up their throttle with a pivoting arm that they cut/made and a solid rod setup. I can't remember who though. They posted pics, it was a nice setup.
I keep looking at that cyl head. It looks like the spark plug side judging by the push rod holes yet there are ports inline with the intake valve. Is it a head he modified himself somehow to put the intake on that side of the engine?

Is this the one you were thinking of? If it is I don't remember his username and if this was posted here or on the Fordsix site. Otherwise Six Gun's Comet also has a bell crank linkage set up ( see the 2nd and 3rd pic down ) .
And this one is for Baron. Here's the same car with the triple side draft Weber's.
And here it is with a 4V on the Holman Moody intake.

If you are talking about the picture with the 3-2V carb set up. That's FTF's Ford crossflow head. That was a Ford R&D project that never went into production. They only made a few of them. If you do happen to find one it's like winning the lottery jackpot!!
Thanks fordman75. Just peeked at TFF's info. I guess he might have even made the head while employed. Suppose he has the mold sitting on a shelf in his garage? LOL
I just searched online about the head(s) and read about them for over an hour. So now I know the story. Had never heard of one before. One link talked of the heads being used on the Ford/UPS/Texaco engine. I followed the Texaco Engine thing back in the 80's thru truck fleet publications but never heard any end results on that. I realize that UPS never had any of the heads. Thanks again
