F-Superduty, ZF5 to 4x4
Does anyone have a list of items needed to convert a 1995 F-Superduty with a ZF5 speed to 4X4? I've found a parts truck,1996 F350, 4x4 with automatic, but it is really far away, too far to pay someone to haul it back.
Here's what I can think of:
1990's Dana 60 front axle
Steering linkages
Springs
U-bolts and mounts
1356 transfer case
Transfer case linkages
Front drive shaft?
Anything else? Does it matter if the Dana 60 is from a dually or from a single rear wheel? I know I'll have to change the carrier and regear it.

if you use the D60, you will also need to get a set of 10 bolt adapters, and they run rite around $900 EACH.
the proper axle would be a D-70.
and you will also have to figure out how to make the parking brake work, because the 1356 does not have provisions for the parking brake on the back of the case
