EBP Sensor

What should the EBP sensor read at idle? Mine is reading 16.9 and my truck has been running like crap lately. Sluggish off the line, no codes hard or soft. Everything else seems to be in line.

Map, Baro, and EBP should be very close KOEO. idling, and high idle it will come up a little but less than 1psi. 16.9 is a little high but not by a lot. EBP should increase with boost.

Here's a handy list of what all the sensors should read. As you can see there are values for EBP voltage that respond a little more. If you have a device that can read that or even use a good multimeter.

Just so you know, EBP reads in absolute pressure so it includes the 14.7psi of atmospheric pressure at sea level. Boost is typically gauge pressure, so it reads 0psi at sea level (guage pressure subtracts the atmospheric pressure).

Sluggish off the line could be sticking turbo vanes. How quickly does it build boost? What is your peak boost at full throttle?

Another option is leaking intercooler tubes, boots and the intercooler itself. I had a leak in my intercooler seam (evidenced by a lot of oil on the seam). Getting a new intercooler really woke the truck up, a lot more than I expected.

My max boost is around 26-28. I've had a lot lower boost since I deleted the EGR. It builds boost decently I would say. I don't get oil anymore since I did the CCV mod. Regular driving I see maybe 8-10 lbs without getting into it.
