I have been out of touch for a while but I thought I would share that I took my 51 for a spin around the block yesterday and boy did that feel good. A couple more good runs like that and maybe I will start the sheet metal work.
Couple of questions though?
1. When I was going around the corners the rear end felt lose what would cause that feeling?
2. When I put mty hanging pedals in I put the master cyl from the donar viechle witch was a 77 mustang and I was wondering is there a larger size of master cyl that would fit those pedals?
ps I added some picts to the gallery check it out.
Nice pictures, but is there and outside to the truck? That "brace" is used right above the radiator to keep the air going throught the radiator and not around the top. I threw mine out because my new radiator does that job it's self.
The rear end might be due to low tire pressure. Don't know about the master cylinder though.
Doesn't it feel great to take it out again after a long time of being away?
If you are using the stock radiator in the stock postition the eight cylinder brace is sit closer to the cab and six closer to the front. There are two different shields, the eight is wider and the six is narrower because of the postition in the hood. I hope this helps.
