Can you all reference some CAT delete pipes for my stock exhaust. Every company I am finding says that the 3.5" cat delete pipes only fit their products not the stock pipe. Which I know that the stock pipe is 3.5".
I am looking for just an Aluminized one.
Or maybe someone would be willing to part with theirs.
Thanks - P
It is an oddball size, I'm not sure if there is one for a stock exhaust. For what its worth, i tested my truck without the cat and it didn't really make a difference with our without it as far as EGT goes. The turbo was a lot louder, but there was a droning noise too.
I already know what the sound is like. My 2004 6oh had a 4inch straight pipe, with no cat or muffler. I was just not wanting to have to go up in pipe size. Waste of money IMO. But if i could get away with just deleting the cat and muff it would be great.
Totally off topic, but the 5thread title confused me severely. When I see CAT in all caps like that I automatically think "Caterpillar" and was wondering what you were trying to delete.

Just thought that was funny and wanted to share...

My initial reaction was the same! I thought "well, they ask about CAT batteries so why not a CAT delete pipe?"

Yeah, I can see that, sorry about the initial confusion.

Thanks for the references and confirming what I found.
I don't understand that, I LOVE the whine of my early '03 turbo!
But, that's all a matter of personal preference and opinion.
So true about the matter of opinion. When I got this 2006 I have now, I swore I wasn't going to mess the stock exhaust (like I did w/ my 2004 6oh)......
But after having the truck for almost a year now, I am ready to do the straight pipe again. But I will not be romping and stomping with my wife in the truck. She hates it.
