51 F1 running board bracket

Could someone give me the measurement from this front rear spring hanger rivet center to the center of the rear top rivet on the bracket for the running board. I removed them years ago when I made my truck into a stake body truck. Guess I did too good of a job filling the hole in because I can't find any trace of the holes on either side of the frame. I am getting ready to put a new pickup bed on it. This will be my winter project. Thanks for any help.

Might be easier to mount the bed, fit the running boards with the brackets bolted to them, and see where they hit the frame. 1/8" off and the running board holes wont line up.

Even easier, same deal, mount the running board with the rear bracket bolted to it, drill holes in the frame.

Yea that would work just thought if I had the measurement for the first hole I could drill all 4 finish the frame then just do a little adjusting before paint.

What I also realized this morning working on it is that the brackets I got are a little bent so they will need some straightening. So if I could bolt them in place I could then heat and bend into place to match the holes on the running board.

mine is 1 7/16" it also measures 21 11/16 from the forward rivet in the top rear bracket to the top rear rivet of the center bracket. the measurement from the top frame flange down to the top center rivet is also 1 7/16"

mine is apart and easy to measure! mine is a 52 should be the same

Thanks Jim I knew someone had to have a bare frame out there now if I can get thru the 3 feet of snow to the shop.
Thanks again for the measurement

I just measured my '50 shorted, and my measurement came out to 1-3/8" I suppose you could drill the holes slightly oversize to make up any slack between the two known measurements that you just got. It's only 1/16", so not really a big deal anyway.

Thanks like you said it's only a 1/16th maybe someone else will come up with a measurement. I think I found traces of one of the holes I filled I might be able to get a measurement from that.
Thanks for the help,
Jim
