In my area they say a 30% chance but where the show is there is a 90% chance, not worth the 300 mile drive and 2 nights in a hotel...

I hear ya. I won't be dragging the welder out tomorrow. To much expensive stuff to have out in the rain.

Plus the risk of shock, can you doing your welding close to the shop door so you can get out of the rain in case it happens..

Unfortunately no, the part of the truck I'm working on is too far from the door. It's ok. Maybe I will go to my buddies and work on my other truck.

Good that you have options, I'm going to be spraying my high build primer tomorrow then get back to the sanding, any sanding after that on these parts will be on the clear coat...

Torture.

I have things blocked out pretty straight now, had to put some spot light on a few places where I noticed some imperfections, this coat od high build should do the trick now and then I'll be on color and clear..

I hope to have painting figured out some day.... I don't have a place to spray at my house.

I've just got this tiny 24X24 shop I work in. I get tired of the clean up between stages..

Yeah. Cleanup sucks. But the end results are worth all the effort.

I hung up some fly ribbons today so if any happen to get in hopefully they will be attracted to it instead of the paint..

Good Morning Rhode Island, John, and Tim.
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I worked my butt off and feel like I got some things accomplished.
Funny thing is most of what I did will never be seen.
My cab is now slid back on the chassis so I can get the rest of the support welding completed and sell off the 1st donor chassis/drivetrain.
