Yeah. My Crew cab has slowed way down. My life, my buddies life. It make it tough to get anything done. And on top of it the crew cab project is 45 minutes from my house.
Hoping to have the Coe bolted down, and the drive train swapped from the new donor by the winter. Seeing that the Coe is in my driveway it is a little easier to wrk on. But not counting on getting the swap down i'm well aware how things go in this hobby.
Well obviously I'd like it done today but I'm a realist. I might get everything swapped, wired and drive able by fall/winter. But I still need to fab up the body/hauler body.
Id like a moveable vehicle by fall. Just don't think I'll have enough weekends before fall.
I take it you are still working and earning a living which of course is good but doesn't provide a lot of free time. I retired a year ago and get to spend a couple hours a day, sometimes more on this project but for some reason I think I got more done when I was working..
Yeah. I just turned 40. And will probably have to work the rest of my life. I have weekends off now. So I get the full two days. When, Weather, my buddies schedule (for the crew cab) and my life/wife cooperate. Lol
When I worked I had some different schedules that provided more days off, I worked an 8/6 then a 7/4/6/4 and then a 7/7 schedule so had plenty of days off. At 40 you'll be working for a few more years yet unless you win the lottery, be we all wish for that...lol
Yeah. I contribute to the lottery, but all I ever win is a few bucks. I've one a few thousand on scratch tickets. But it's been a while on those. I'm sure I didn't cover my losses on any of them. Lol. Ahh. U can't win unless u play.
