Side bed steps

A friend has an F150 with the Ford stock retracting steps between the back of the cab and in front of the rear wheel, Question, has any one put these on their F350 SRW?

I'm interested in one of these as well. Have been looking at the Bestop myself and wondering if anyone has any experience with these.

I installed these and I love them

AMP Research bed step2 BEDSTEP® | AMP Research

I put them on both sides, makes getting into a cooler or tool box very easy when you have a fifth wheeler hogging up your bed.

I'm needing some thing also. Thom, where did you get the step at? How long have you had them? How was installation? Do you have the part numbers? Thanks!

DeeZee use to make side boards for the DRW and SRW...have a set on DRW and they are nice to get to the tool box. Not sure who makes them now.

X2 on the amp research bed step. I put it on when I first got the truck. I use it all the time for getting stuff out of the bed. 2012 FORD F 350 SUPER DUTY Amp Research BedStep2 Box Side Steps 75403-01A - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing I think this is where I picked mine up

We tried the side steps on a few trucks, works fine if they don't get dirty with mud and rocks.

I have had them over 4 years. Installation took about 45 minutes the first side and half hour second side. I believe I purchased them straight from AMP Research but it has been so long I truly don't remember. The part number is listed in the link I provided above but make sure you get the set for a diesel because there is a difference between gasser and diesel.

Also, FWW, I have never had an issue with dirt buildup and I live 4 miles down a dirt road.

I see, I'm looking for the "Bedstep II". The one that goes in front of the back wheel.

I have the amp steps. They are great. Frozen shut right now though. I think wheel well liners will fix this.

My bad, I just followed the link I posted and it was to the bedstep, not BSII which is what I do have (in front of wheels). Sorry for the bad link, everything else is correct.

When you order them do they come for both sides of the truck? Or do you have to order 2?

I've looked at the AMP steps a number of times. For the price of 2 of them, I'm leaning more towards the rock sliders with steps for a long bed. I figure theres a bit more body protection there for about the same prices.

I looked at the AMP and Bestop box side steps, and didn't like the idea that they mounted right behind the cab. My fuel tank toolbox combo has a large lid that faces towards the tailgate of the truck. I'm short and in order to fill the tank I have to stand on tip toes just to be able to get the fill nozzle in the tank and can't really see whats going on. So I ordered a Carr tool box flip step, model 175012 as it mounts just ahead of the wheel and should give a better position
