sorry another overhead computer question
I've tried searching for this, but i don't know how to word it. My overhead computer in my '99 sd will tell me temp & direction, but, mpg and dte is not correct, dte is saying 5 miles to empty when there is a quarter tank of fuel in there. it is a 7.3 with 903k miles miles on it, then it counts down to zero, but there is at least 10 gallons in the tank. the mpg mode is just a blank screen, temp and compass readings are correct, thou. is driving crazy looking up at it, thanks for the help.

Yep, been in all 48 continental states & 3 Canadian Providences, used to haul travel, 5th wheel, and toy-boxes, from manufacturer in Indiana out to dealerships. Still have original 7.3, and transfer case, but on 3rd tranny and both axles have been replaced. i have a picture taken 12/26/13 in my gallery of 899034 miles, last trip leaving the office. I was headed for Houston, when I had heart failure just west of Shreveport. LA, I've recovered but me and "Rufus, da Big Red Truck" are retired, as one of us can't pass a DOT physical, it has 903k miles on it.
