Finally ordered my tuner!

Waiting on the X4 to come in and the delete pipe and started thinking what am I going to put in the empty temp. spots on the EDGE CTS monitor. How is everyone reading EGT's. Would like to do the egr delete but worried about breaking the dreaded bolt off. Anyone have any advice or input on this would be great. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year.

I just deleted my mid-late model year 2011 with 68k miles as the 5yr warranty has ended and my DPF heater was bad. Plus I'm tired of EGT sensors failing and rendering the truck useless. I did have trouble with one of the bolts on the longer EGR pipe where it attached to the passenger side exhaust manifold. Fortunately, I was able to get one of the bolts loose (I had previously soaked in penetrating oil for over 24 hours) and was able to pivot the entire pipe back and forth enough several times to enable the other bolt to loosen up. I hope this helps!

Good deal. They took care of me pretty well. If you need customer service, I think you will be satisfied. If you don't need CS, you will still like the tunes.

Yes to both. I am on nights, and I'm still running unplugged. Switching from nights back to days SUCKS!!

Well so far its only been a week and I am glad I did the delete. Went from 13.8 to right at 16 mpg according to the dummy gauge. No drone in the cab at any speed, sounds great at idle. Would like to figure out how to monitor some EGT with the EDGE insight but haven't been able to figure that one out yet. EGR is disable but not unplugged, according to Rudy's just leave it plugged in, it already disabled.
