Door lock install diagram
Hi folks, happy new year.
My truck not have the door locks, I don't not know if they covered the holes in the doors or never had any.
I'm looking for the diagram installation for my 59 panel, i'm trying to buy in Macs Autoparts but they dont sell the Door Lock Cylinder Lever, I don't know if i need it or not.
Please help me.

Back in the 50's Door Locks were an Option on Commercial Vehicles, so more than likely it came from the Factory w/o any. So none more than likely welded anything up on your Orphan Years Panel Truck.
The standard Door Lock installation for our Era Trucks is on the Passenger Side only.
Parking Laws at the Time, which are Still on the Books to this day, makes it Illegal to exit ones vehicle into Traffic when Parallel Parked. So one had to push down on the Door Handle to Lock the Drivers Side Door, then Slide Across the Bench Seat & exit out the Passenger Side Door & the Lock it after one closed it.
Currently I am min my wife, Nancy's, Hospital room because of her A.L.S. diagnoses 18 months ago & I'm unable to get to my FoMoCo books to help you.
But as soon as possible I will do so.
You will be able to find Everything you need for Door Lock Installation on e-Bay
