I have a 1994 F-350 dual rear wheel with a 460 AOD Transmission. The engine and trans. have never had any problems. What it does is when the truck shifts it shifts like it has the vacuum hose off on a C-6. Shifts harsh and if you let up it free wheels. It does not do this all the time but more than not. Did they have problems with the wire connector at the pass. side of the trans.? Change the fluid every 40,000. It does it with nothing hooked on and it does it also while pulling a load. Thanks for Reading
I would check the mlps(neutral safety switch )
I have a 96 f250 (460,e4od) that just randomly it would start shifting weird and slipping gears.I checked resistance on the mlps and replaced it been working good
