When I try to "build" a truck (2016 F350 XLT 4X4 SRW) on ford.com, it will not allow me to choose both the Camper and Plow pkg, but I found a truck on a dealer lot that has both options listed?!!
When I try to build on CARS.com it does allow me to do so as well, so I assume it is just a glitch on the FORD.com's build page?
I am aware the Heavy Service Suspension package is not available with the plow and camper package, just confused why when I build on Fords site it wont allow me to do the camper and plow together like the one on the lot?!!
Did you try building it in reverse ??? You may not be able to get option "A" when option "B" is selected, but you might be able to get option "B" when option "A" is selected. Try selecting the 2 options in reverse order. Did you actually see the window sticker on the truck in the dealer's lot, or were you told that it had both options ???
I actually had seen the window sticker so I assume its safe to say it's possible. And yes I did try building in reverse with no luck so it just must be a glitch with their build page.
But another thing I found odd was when I build on Ford.com and add the snow plow prep that comes with the HD alternaor, it gives me the option to add the "EXTRA" HD alternator for free,....but the window sticker added this option as well but is still charging the $75 for it?!!! Really not sure what the difference is between the HD and Extra HD? But you would think that ford.com and any window sticker would be in sync with each other! Cars.com gave me the most accurate build price with options that matched the window sticker

I'm looking at a 2016 f350 drw that had the same thing of the camper and snow plow package together. It also had a HD alternator on the build sheet and a $75 charge but I thought the same thing that it came with the snow plow package?
I can not confirm your example, but I have found some other disparities on window stickers. One that I have seen a couple of times now is a F250 with the Lariat Ultimate Package and then the Navigation system listed as a $900 add on, the navigation is actually part of the ultimate package on the Ford Website.
I finally made a listing of what is included on every package just so I can keep track of them when looking at window stickers.
Yeah it is definitely strange. As far as the alternators go I am guessing there is 3 to chose from.
1 standard
2 HD-snow plow prep
3 EXTRA HD -Plow prep WITH deisel--- OR another upgrade for gasser.
(maybe a little more amps than the HD?!!)
I ordered and received a 2016 F250 with camper and snow plow. I know you can not select these together on the Ford website, but when dealer was going down the list of options on his computer, he was prompted to order both. So, yes, glitch on website only.
Thanks everybody for responding. Ended up at the dealer today and bought the truck! Funny thing is that I SWORE I was going to wait for the new 17's to come out and it seemed like I was closer than ever, but with my bed rotting out (completely, non fixable!), replacing my starter last week, having my radio and mileage cluster reading go in and out lately, and the rebates offered, it seemed like the time was right before I ended up dumping more cash into my 10 yr old 05'!
Hopefully I wont regret it too much when the new models come out, but with my gray cab and every takeoff bed (new and used) in white, I was looking at paint on top of buying the bed and I just couldn't see putting $2k+ into my 05,...especially on a bed!
I am just amazed I found a 16 in white with almost every option I wanted, minus the 10k package and the rearview camera and 4.30 axle. All options i think --and hope- I can live without. --- But I am going to miss my V10!!!!! But the better gas mileage with the 6.2 and 3.73 gears will get me over that!!!!
