Bought a used 2012 F-350 6.7L DRW. I printed the window sticker for the VIN, and am having trouble finding out what is included in the "Snow Plow Package" $85.00, which is shown on my window sticker. Dealer had no idea, and/or was too lazy to look it up.
Any idea what is included in this "package"?
Heavier front springs and a high output alternator I believe.

I'm usually wrong
This all that I know it to include. I did see something that led me to believe that it included the block heater on maybe the 2013+ trucks. I know for a fact that it was not included on 2011 trucks.
Thanks! It does have the block heater (used it already) and the "Rapid Heat Supplemental Heater" Not sure what/how that works, havent found it in the book yet.
The window sticker does show the Extra Heavy Duty Alternator, and the 13300 lb GVWR Package.
So the heavy front springs make perfect sense, but I doubt that I will do any plowing with it, lol
The rapid heat is automatic. Anytime that the commanded temperature is 80% max and the coolant temp is below 160*(not sure but I think that is the number), the rapid heat electric element engages to provide heat until the engine warms up enough to provide full heat.
720 deere,
Thanks, I found the thread on it. I will say it must work, as my 2008 super duty 6.4L did not have it, and on these cold winter mornings, it would take forever to get any warmth. This morning it was 26 deg. I remote started the 2012, and 10 minutes later, after the snow was brushed off, and I got in, I was amazed that actual heat was blowing out. Gonna save some idle time in the winter for sure.
