I see the Offenhauser 'C' type intake for the 300/4.9 is now available at Summit Racing. They had listed it wouldn't be in stock until September, 2016, but it is now in stock.
I wonder what'll happen to them if they're bought out. A bunch of their products discontinued? Or will there be a higher rate of production?
I know I've debated switching mine to a C style, so maybe I need to jump on that?

Hello AB: I'm curious. I know you had both the DP and the C on different vehicles with 300's. Why are you curious about trying the C? I'd like to hear your reasoning. k
Whenever I messed around with the carb on the '84 before I sold it (which had the Offenhauser C intake), the carb always seemed to just behave and be happy. I'm curious if it was the carb/engine, etc. or if it was the C itself. I never swapped them around to test it, as that's not exactly a simple job.
However, I'm still curious. Especially after modifying the engine with a cam/larger valves, etc. which is upcoming.
