Ok, I've Googled, Bing'ed and DuckDuckGo'ed until my eyes are raw. I've searched online part stores and used part inventories, but I cannot for the life of me find a stupid 'fricken intake manifold for my '85 300 six. Really I don't even care what year it's from as long as it bolts up. My six has had all the smog and computer controls deleted so that is no concern either. Can anybody point me in the right direction or are you telling me that nobody manufactures or sells replacement stock intake manifolds for these beasts? I don't want an Offenhauser and don't need a four barrel carb. I've got everything set up the way I like it but the firewall end of my intake broke off and I just want to slap another stock intake on there. I've never, in 20+ years of turning wrenches encountered a part that NOBODY even mentions, much less sells, either new or used. Somebody has to have some of these or know where to get them. ANY help is much appreciated.
Usually..eBay has a plethora of them. I've also seen Craigslist have many parts. If I still had mine..is sell her to ya..but it was scrapped..it was junk anyways. Usually scrap yard or pick n pulls have some old 300s lying around..maybe u can look if you have one close?
Yeah, I know, I've seen dozens of them at the yards here, no pick n pulls or pick ur parts in Pueblo, CO, but we have a bunch of yards, and it figures when I need one, I get all zeros. I couldn't come up with anything on Ebay either and craigslist was a failure as well. I just can't believe that Dorman or another company doesn't make these. They make the exhaust manifolds, I just bought one not long ago, but no intake. The dealer also says that there are none showing in inventory for any dealership in the continental united states. Dismal and enough to really **** you off. Thanks though.
Keep checking in. Also..put out a post that you're looking for one. I'm sure the other guys here in the six forum that have swapped untamedmay have their old setup laying around. Also..check the classifieds section on this site..post you're looking for one. You never know.
Okay, apparently I didn't see the "Intake" part of the request. Sorry for the incorrect information! (However, at least it is correct information for the exhaust manifold! LOL!)

Reason: Posted for exhaust manifold, not the intake.
