Boy are they wavering back and forth as to snow amounts. They don't really know. So I'm just staying prepared for tomorrow. I am suppose to have a 1 o'clock lunch with friends in the northeast corner, just wait and see.
I was on I-95 North in Stamford at around 7 am this morning....., an 1/8th inch of snow on the road and two folks had already spun out. A Hundai SUV ran off the road and was on its side at the edge of woods. Sheesh!
Now 3 hours later there's around 2" on the ground, and the winds are startin' to pick up. They're talking 9 to 15" on the shore.
We had Hannah's birthday party today and the wife was freaking out about rescheduling. Party went well and everyone is headed home. We probably have about 6 inches so far in Middletown, but it's still coming down pretty well. I'll be a little worried about my parents getting home and up their driveway. The people that clear it are not the most prompt.
Miles, I have the Toyo Open Country A/T's on the F250 and some place around 68,000 on them now. Drove in the snow yesterday and no problems. Went from Stafford Springs to Newington at 4 in the afternoon. Yes they are due for replacement soon, still the best tire for me.
We only got 3 or 4 inches here from the storm. I was woke this morning at 4 am by the guy hired to do my next door neighbors driveway with a snow blower. Started my Newf's barking and had to get up to calm them and get them out to do there business. I will wait until 8 like everyone else.
I've looked at the AT2 a lot but I like the more aggressive pattern of the RTs. I'd go for MTs again but they're just a little loud for me, my sound deadening project helped a lot though. I've got a lot of friends running the RTs and they say they're as quiet as the AT2s and excellent performance
