currently 19 balmy degrees, with very little wind. feels like fall.
already got my moose in the freezer, now to rush the things still need to do at house before deer season come November.
going to hunt both Texas and Missouri this year...
hope to have few things done before significant snow falls..
and still working on roof over last 2/3's of new wood shed..
but got 8 cords stacked and and cover

I am at a remote job site about 60 miles in from the AK West Coast and 100 miles above the Arctic Circle. We have already had a few storms pass through, but most of it at lower elevations has melted off and the ground is not completely frozen yet, but it's getting close.

Not sure I could weather your winters up there, they are bad enough for me here when they last up to 7 months at times. Never been up that way but have watched some of the reality shows on TV and it sure looks like beautiful country in the summer months..

Thanks Rich, I didn't care for what I seen falling this morning but at least it was melting when it made it's touch down, dropping to 26° tonight hopefully without any precipitation..
