Anyone know the best way to replace this? (I live in the UK).
The Ford dealer I usually use for parts wants around $500 to buy and ship a new replacement to England! Yikes!
So that ain't happening - any clever suggestions welcome
thanks
Mike
Thanks Chaps. The nearest junkyard with American cars is about 4,000 miles from here hence the need for a more imaginative solution :-)
The aftermarket parts look interesting but they only list US shipping options - will check though.
Any other thoughts?

You can get a new one from rockauto.com because they'll ship internationally. In the end it'll cost you about $250 which is half of what the dealer quoted you.
Thank you - I may just order one - didn't realise there were so many aftermarket grilles and some can be shipped here too. I just need to decide if its worth it as something is going wrong with the car every week at the moment and it may be worth just letting it go
Sadly you can't buy them here or I'd get a nice shiny new one
Well this was interesting - I ordered the cheap one you mentioned above and it's a perfect replacement (and a fraction of the cost of other options). Sadly it was shipped to England loose in a cardboard box so it was a bit damaged but 1a refunded the cost. So with a bit of jiggery pokery I have a nice new grille that matches 100% at no cost! Not often that happens!
Thanks again for pointing it out. Here's the finished job - until the next one!! Heated seat next :-) What is it at 11 years old that makes these things fall apart?

Amazing how easy it is to overlook a few minor flaws when something is free.
