If you don't find anybody else around here, we have tons of used grills

If you call us and ask for Jesse, she has a list of them with the prices

I've got one with the custom cab trim on it and everything. I'd recommend looking more local if you aren't from the Midwest though..

What would be considered a fair price for a 55 grille in good condition?

My reason for asking is the one on my truck is chrome and has a lot of bad rust on it. I would like to have it re-chromed some day when my budget allows but had wondered about getting a decent used one and painting it in the meantime and using that instead. Not to mention I am not sure if the rust might be bad enough to make it very hard or very expense to have it re-chromed.

You can expect to pay aeound $350 for a used grille from a dealer. If you keep an eye on CL and go to local swaps you can find one for a lot less. A buddy just bought one here in SoCal for $225 that was in excellent condition AND it had a good set of hockey stick trims on it.

Thanks for that information. That helps me a lot in knowing what to expect to pay. Unfortunately 55 grilles seem to be pretty rare in my area. I keep checking CL and swap meets and yet to find one so I might have to expand my search area and factor in shipping.

I've got one with the custom cab trim hockey sticks that id only need $150 plus shipping. There's a chrome one I saw local for like $100 but the pictures weren't great.

That sounds like something I might be interested in. I sent you a PM.

Thanks,
Alan
