1 injector and the tools to change it on the road.
1 quart of 911
Jumper cables( 00 welding leads) i store these in the spare tire cover
Tow strap
9mm
Blankets
And some mics stuff I cannot recall at the moment
I keep it all in a lil toolbox I strap to the floor behind the 3rd row. I make trips to rural MT in the winter with the family and cant afford to wait for another person to come along and there is no cell phone coverage. So I over plan a bit for the family ride. Having a spare alternator has saved my butt in more than 1 6.0 over the years.
Ha ha! No not quite. Its all in a little Stanley 28" FatMax tool box. http://www.stanleytools.com/en-us/fa...oolbox/028001l I Strap it down to the floor with a rachet strap so its not a flying box of death in the cabin of the EX if she ever rolled over. The chains are in a different toolbox of course.
Thats nothing though you should see whats the toolboxes on the trucks. LOL
when I take the Ex out of town I pack a few things, mostly due to how remote the places I go are. You don't have cell service, you have long distances between people...ect
4-way tire iron
floor jack
tire plug kit
air compressor
jumper cables
2 socket sets
few screw drivers
straps
tow strap
outside of that, it's just what's needed for the trip.
I carry a spare COP (never needed one yet), 3 small tool bags (1 w/sockets & ratchets, 1 w/wrenches, 1 w/screwdrivers, multi-meter and misc tools), a small 12V compressor and the factory jack and accessories.
So far I've only needed the tools for fixing various things on the trailers or other's vehicles.
