Never leave home without it...

What do you make sure you never leave home without when you drive your Excursion?

I always keep my tool box handy in anything I drive. Experience has taught me to always carry a gallon of water and a couple of quarts of oil, jumper cables, a 4 way lug wrench, and some rags and hand cleaner. How about you guys? Anything special you don't dare leave home without?

Spare CPS and associated tools, pair jump cables, small tool kit, blue shop towels, zip ties, and a fire extinguisher.

Shovel. Jumper cables. Blankets. I drive over red mountain pass every other weekend. Unless it's closed for avalanche cleanup. Or boulder cleanup.

I use too carry a bunch of stuff, but I don't anymore. My plans have changed over the years mainly due to poor health. If I break down, I'll have a rental delivered and have the Ex put on a flatbed and sent home.

Most of the above + Kleenex and Wet Wipes. Traveling with wife, kid, and dogs, you never can tell when you're going to have a 'wet cleanup on aisle 9' incident!

Ok, I can add I never go on Excursion roadtrips without Razzi's phone number

Saved me a headache last year when my hood wouldn't close

Jumper cables, gloves, cargo blankets, tire pressure gauges, and fuel filters (along with rachet, extensions, and the sockets to remove both fuel filters).

Cellphone, AAA, and S&W.

For the excursion:

Spare ficm
Alternator
Fuel filter and 6mm allen wrench to drain the water separator
Misc sockets set, wrenches & Screw drivers
Egr valve(havent deleted that yet)
1 injector and the tools to change it on the road.
1 quart of 911
Jumper cables( 00 welding leads) i store these in the spare tire cover
Tow strap
9mm
Blankets
And some mics stuff I cannot recall at the moment

I keep it all in a lil toolbox I strap to the floor behind the 3rd row. I make trips to rural MT in the winter with the family and cant afford to wait for another person to come along and there is no cell phone coverage. So I over plan a bit for the family ride. Having a spare alternator has saved my butt in more than 1 6.0 over the years.

Oh and tire chains in the winter for all 4.

Glock and AAA card. If I get a flat or break down I'm not doing a dam thing on the side of the road. You would too if you've seen the stuff I've seen over the last 20 years.
