Overhead console issue
99 F250 SD Lariat Supercab
I had my overhead console repaired but when I turn the lights on, the display is very dim. I have to turn the lights off, to view it.
wI have adjusted the dash dimmer to no effect. Even When it is turned up high, it will still not work with the lights on.
It has an aftermarket radio that does not dim with the dash light dimmer.

There is a dimmer circuit that goes to the console, but I'm not coming up with much information about it. I've attached the section from the '04 workshop manual for troubleshooting the console, I believe it's similar to yours. Hope some of the pinouts and diagrams help!
