The locks on my truck are keeping me from getting in I've gotten to the point that I want to replace the door locks and the ignition lock as a same key set. The problem I'm having is I can't find any place that has a set of same key locks. Amazon has a set but the pictures any way are not the same as the locks in the truck. Anyone have a place to get the locks as a set?
Note that only 1996-1998 lock sets will work for you.

How about calling a locksmith and ask if they could recode either the door cylinder or ignition cylinder.
I saw that eBay post. The door locks don't look like the lock escutcheons on a 250 door. That is why I have not jumped on them. I've also seen similar sets that look the same way on other sites.
That's why we throw things back and forth here! I never thought of having the new locks coded to the ignition! JAAGEN! your a genius!

Since you are at the point where you are looking to replace the locks, am I correct in assuming that you have tried graphite in the locks to help free them up?
Yes I have... It feels like an improperly cut key. It works fine in the ignition without an issue. Maybe a locksmith could just fix the key to work in my locks. Don't know, haven't tried it yet. lt's another good thought.
A good locksmith should be able to what you're looking for.
I know when I had my mazda mx3 I had problems with my ign switch, and had a locksmith rework a new key from scratch, saved me over $200 on a new lock tumbler from mazda.
That is where I bought my door locks and ignition cylinder for my 97 F250 and they worked perfect. They were also OEM Ford parts, not some junk aftermarket
