Mine has factory air so no help there but two aftermarket suppliers come to mind, Nostalgic Air and Vintage Air.

Crazy I was just doing a search for info on installing ac in my 73 and I see you beat me to the post today. I have done some home work and what little I've found out Vintage has direct bolt in kits for the 72 and older but not 73 and newer. I think (don't hold me to it) Nostalgic may have a kit that will work but its not made specifically for your trucks.
So I'll be riding along on this one and see what help you get.

Nope, Nostalgic has three kits specifically for the 73-79's. Two in-dash, one straight A/C and one A/C and heat. The third is an underdash hang on unit.

Do you have this set-up? I'm on there site now and see the the ac and heat unit. I have my interior out and yesterday took the dash out. Im ready to paint the inside and decided that I WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN so now is the time to do it.
I've read some posts that bash one company and praise the next. I'd hate to spend hard earned $$ with out checking.

OK, thanks for the reply. I'm in West Palm.... even though today was great you know how it gets. I have my dash and interior out and am ready to paint and thought I WILL NEVER have this all apart again maybe I should just pull the trigger.

Im Non-AC and the web-site has it as 1,099. I'm nervous to cut my dash and some of the under dash vents look terrible. Plus my controls are wrong so they offer this cheap ****. I'm not afraid to install it and run everything but don't want the dash to look hacked after.
I sent the company an email tonight asking for some pictures and if that goes well I think I'm gonna order it this week.

Sure thing. I've been meaning to learn how to do that. I have a photobucket account and could post pic's to an other ford site but haven't done it here yet.
