Hey guys I got a 95 f150, it's an E4OD, and the problem is that it isn't downshifting sometimes. It also somewhat had little lurches when driving (probably because of the transmission not shifting right) there was a wire that I replaced, it was on the engine and a transmission shop told me to try it cuz I was having the same problem before this, and it worked. But now it's back. I also put in a throttle body spacer, not sure if that changed anything cuz the cables to the throttle moved a little but we're adjusted right.
A 1995 F150 can have an E4OD or 4R70W transmission. Either of them are 100% electronic controlled. There is no kick down cable or other mechanical connection to the throttle.
Check for codes.
More details about the wire you replaced.
You wasted your money on a throttlebody spacer. Complete garbage on these trucks.
