Some months back I found a instrument cluster out of a 93-94 f150 and it had the tach.
So I grabbed it up and installed it into my 92 f150, and all gauges and light seem to work but one.
My light for 4h wont light but will light in 4L and last time I messed with it the bulb was good, so I played it off as a mis wiring deal.
But now I'd like to fix it, did I use the wrong cluster?
Which wire from the harness is for the 4H light?
And if the light isnt getting power, but have power from the 4h wire can I jump a wire over to the light plug?
If I remember right 92-93 are the same and 94-95 are the same. When I changed the wiring harness in my 93 it was replaced with one from a 95 and things were in different places on the clusters.
Well just to finish this thread I'll update it.
Some months ago I was having speedo issues so got a salvage cluster and did some swapping, dont remember what I did exactly, but took the bezel off and noticed my 4wd light bulb was gone, so installed a new bulb and all of a sudden the lights both work now.
