Guys, did the '54 ever come with hood bump stops? If so, can someone tell me how long the threaded shaft is? Haven't seen any for sale, so I was thinking of using alternative, depending on how long I would need it to be. Some king of universal thing?
Bluey I did not realize you are in Australia until just now. I have a set at home I can measure for you after I get off work today. If memory serves me right they are about an inch and a half long and are 1/4-20 thread but I will double check.
The hood stops for these trucks are just rubber guide pieces that snap to the inside of the fender where the hood rests and there is a rubber button that goes on the hood , 6 pieces in all.
