Hood hinges blew up again
Hey forum, any one have a good tilt hood kit for the 66 hood? I know a guy has a design on the forum for about $ 650, but that's out of my range. I'm tired of this and I hear the repos are trash.

So... let me get this straight, your hood hinges blew up? or did your hood blow open driving down the road? I have seen Kevins tilt hood kit and its the best money can buy, i dont think any other kit compares.

Naw, that was a figure of speech, bought some used hinges got em looking perfect, had em on for a few months w\ no problem, then last nite went to close and both pivot washers snapped out of position. I've tried the old "drill out\replace rivets" didn't work for long. Just don't have 700 to spend on opening my hood. I'll press on and figure something out have a great day
