Took the body cladding off today. Now to get all the goo off of it. I'll post pictures of the after when it's all clean. Here's some before.

Congrats, man! I love that color combo. I wanted it but really couldn't find it with the options I wanted over here on the east coast. Well, unless it was all rusted out.

. The wife liked Estate green as a second option so that's what we ended up with. Welcome!

replace the cupholders in the dash and the center console as your first mod.

you'll thank me later. if you don't, your first red light with a McDonalds drink, you'll remember this post. hahaha

Could you explain how to do that? Did we really have shorter, skinnier cups 15 years ago? We have same problem in our other car too, a Honda Odyssey.

Look in the tech folder, it can save you a ton of headaches and cause you to spend a little money.

Yea the 2000s had really shallow useless cup holders. U don't have to replace the whole console, the part with the cup holders pops right out very easy. Just replace with 01+. The dash pop out one i believe just unscrews.

Center console between the two front seats, yes. But don't be so hasty with the in-dash pull-out cup holder. Depending on when the Ex was made, it probably already has the "good one."

My 2000 Ex has the "good one" in the dash.
