Same here. You make me really not want to do mine lol. But I will wait till the weather warms. Being cold would just make me that much angrier lol
I wanted to do it while it was warm, but I kept putting it off. I couldn't wait anymore because the exhaust was filling up the cab woke driving! I had some old bunker pants from the firehouse,so I was nice and toasty! that plus my torpedo heater
So today was valve cover gasket day, which turned into oil change day (my fault) which turned into pcv and grommet day.
I forgot to take to coolant hose off on the passenger side before I took the valve cover off. It won't come out with the house across the top, but when I took the hose off I got quite a bit of coolant into the valves. Yay me. Went to get oil for an oil change. After I got the valve cover off, I was inspecting the pcv grommet because I have a Leak there too, and sure enough it was torn. I had to go to the local dealer to get it because it is a ford only part, but they ordered it and ill have it tomorrow.
more work than I wanted today, but it's progress. Tomorrow I'll tackle the drivers side and then be driving again! I haven't got to hear how quiet it is after doing the manifold gaskets yet.
I used the tape measure from center of tire to center of tire; front and back of tires.
Looking from the driver-side tire to passenger side tire, CW on the center link causes toe out; CCW causes toe in. Same technique to straighten the steering wheel, but use the center link (upper) going to the steering box.

my alignment was good as far as toe was concerned, so instead of fooling with it on the vehicle (the new linkage) i pulled the old out all together, and made the new one match lengthwise.
